Steve Facey

1984 Steve began DJing. These were private functions and friends house parties. 1986 Steve starts London bar & club residencies including: The Sussex (Norbury), Zigis (Streatham), The Gin Palace, The Duncow & Green Man (Old Kent Road), Cheers (Cheam & Wimbledon), Renoirs (New Malden), Naked Lunch (SW1) & Legends (Epsom). 1987-88 Steve produced radio shows for Dave Pearce & Steve Walsh at BBC Radio London. 1994-98 Steve presented radio shows for Kiss 100 as Weekend Breakfast Presenter. 1996-98 Steve created & promoted Faceys 80’s. A weekly night of 70’s & 80’s soul & disco at The Woodman (Carshalton).

Guest DJ’s included Jazzie B, Greg Edwards & Gordon Mac. 2000-07 Steve continues club residencies including: The Warehouse (Edmonton), The Zap (Brighton), Sugar Reef (London), Evissa (Kingston), Tiger Tiger (Croydon & Haymarket), The Sports Bar (Haymarket), Club 101 (Wardour Street) & Tru Do’s Parties (Tony Truman) 2001 Steve presented mid-morning daytime radio programs for Choice FM. 6 days a week. 2003-10 Steve created & promoted RIZE – A monthly house music event. Loop, Croydon.

Guest DJ’s included Mr Arkoss, Steve Smart & Ray Lock. 2005 Steve presented The Housonic Radio Show – Juice FM, Brighton for The Soul Avengerz. 2007 Steve retired from the music industry to bring up his family & concentrate on a new business. 2018-now Steve makes a comeback.

He provides DJ services for weddings, private functions & corporate events with his own PA equipment. 2019-now Steve created & promotes Back2house (www.back2house.co.uk). A classic house music event. Various London locations: Guest DJ’s include Carly Denham, Philgood & Ram. The Dollyrockers. 2019-20 Steve presented radio shows on Streetsounds Radio. Faceys 80’s & Back2house. 2023 Steve created Drumzola (www.drumzola.co.uk). A fully rehearsed Latin percussion stage show with DJ. Performed showcase at Esher Theatre.

2023-now Steve presents radio shows on Centreforce Radio. ‘The Disco Connection’ every Monday 6pm til 8pm.
