An experienced and charismatic DJ whose musical story started in the early 80’s. A true ambassador for dance music and a veteran of the dance scene. First took to the decks and began working as a DJ in 1981 playing Jazz Funk/Soul and Disco.
It wasn’t until the explosion of the Dance Music scene in the late 80’s that Dean became a household name to those pioneering and participating in a musical revolution. During the ‘Rave Scene’ Dean held residencies with some of the biggest organisations and clubs in the UK. World Dance, AWOL, The Astoria and Busby’s to name a few icons. Dean also became a regular on the airwaves frequently playing on the pirate music stations dedicated to dance music while the national radio stations were in still in denial.
Dean’s career has taken him around the world, and he has played to thousands including VIPs and Royalty. It was during his global travels Dean discovered Thailand and fell in love. Koh Samui became his home for over a decade where he played to happy islanders for over 12 years.
Dean’s career highlights include, Jamiroquai Album Launch for Ministry of Sound at Luton Hoo. The opening of The Hard Rock Café in Jordan which led to Dean DJing at The Prince of Jordan’s Birthday Party at the Palace, who is now the King of Jordan.
DJing at The Dome London for World Dance/Ministry of Sound N.Y.E. Millennium and an 18 hour set at Tribal Gathering in 1996.
